Optimist International Junior Golf Championship

The Championship is recognized as one of the premier junior golf tournaments in the world. Each year, more than 600 talented young golfers compete in The Optimist, following participation by over 5,000 players in official Optimist District qualifying tournaments. The top performers—along with international participants from across the globe—advance to the Championship. This event offers a one-of-a-kind experience where junior golfers and their families can enjoy golf, meals, lodging, and a variety of off-course activities—all in one convenient location.

Many accomplished professionals, including Chris Gotterup, Jason Day, Brooke Henderson, Joaquin Niemann, Justin Thomas, Lexi Thompson, Scottie Scheffler, and Tiger Woods, once teed it up in The Optimist.
